CPDadvantage

CPDadvantage is a new initiative designed to support continuing professional development (CPD).

CPD is an important matter for all professionals. City & Guilds and Rocket Learning have come together to develop a range of resources and tools to help organisations and individuals plan and implement CPD effectively.

The resources we have developed to date have been designed specifically for the needs of Scottish schools. However, our mission is to become a leading player in supporting CPD development in all sectors of the UK economy. We aim to deliver innovative, flexible, work-based programmes so people can do their CPD when, where and how they prefer.

To meet the needs of Scottish teachers, schools and education authorities we have developed:

• • A range of CDs with high quality multimedia content

• • CPD training programmes based on these CDs

• • A Chartered Teacher qualification using work-based and multimedia based learning

• • A CPD Management Website

The CDs may be purchased as stand-alone products. Alternatively, we can offer you a tailored programme of CD-supported training and/or consultancy to meet a particular need, such as implementing Determined to Succeed.
