Graham Maclachlan trained as a journalist and worked in the information business for many years, both in the private and voluntary sectors. He was co-founder of Rocket Visuals in 1995 developing multimedia products and services for the advertising and marketing industries, working with many of the country's leading companies.

In 2001 he formed Rocket Learning Ltd to develop specific multimedia educational materials.

The Rocket companies have offices in Edinburgh and a staff of thirteen.
