Bob Bissell is a Director of Rocket Learning. He has extensive experience in development and support activities for a wide range of organisations and agencies involved in education, training and lifelong learning.

He has worked in schools, FE colleges, 3 universities, in local authorities, in national agencies and has been extensively involved in major national development projects, for example TVEI (Technical Vocational Education Initiative), 16-18 Action Plan, Adult Educational Guidance Initiative - Scotland, Quality of Learning Resources, the Higher Still Development Programme, and major SQA Projects. He has been seconded to work at both regional and national level to a wide range of projects with Scottish Executive, Scottish Qualifications Authority, Strathclyde Regional Council, and Scottish Enterprise, as well as being a Director with the Scottish Further Education Unit.

Since 1996, he has successfully developed a unit within Glasgow Caledonian University - Open Campus Learning, which offers consultancy, staff development and training, project management, support materials development, seminar and conference organisation and publications for a wide range of organisations, sectors and providers of lifelong learning in Scotland, UK and Europe.
